In Japanese, kawaii means cute and kokoro means heart. The goal of Pastry Chef Jason Sunada is to create gourmet desserts and baked goods that everyone can enjoy. All the products are inspired by both the local flavors of Hawaiʻi and the fantastic treats of Japan. He always uses the best ingredients and make things from scratch. Kawaii Kokoro is family owned and operated, not a large commercial operation. Its goal is to provide artisan quality products for all to enjoy.
Chef Jason Sunada received his training from Kapiʻolani Community College and began his career working for the hotel industry in Waikiki before returning to Kauaʻi. His business started first as commissions for custom cakes but he opened the shop with the goal of sharing delicious, artisan desserts for everyone. He values a personal connection to his customers and takes pride in seeing them enjoy the products he creates. Whether you are looking for treats to bring home or want a custom cake for your next gathering, Kawaii Kokoro Patisserie will make sure it is a creation from the heart, from our family to yours. |
